Saner.AI and HeroKit both call themselves AI personal assistants, but they take very different approaches. Saner.AI gives you one calm place to capture, organize and plan. HeroKit is an assistant you message, who goes off and does the work.
The short version

Two different ideas of an assistant
Saner.AI starts from your information. It pulls your notes, email, tasks, documents and calendar into one place, and its assistant, Skai, helps you make sense of it: suggesting tasks, prioritizing your day and reminding you of what matters. Saner.AI says it was built by people with ADHD, for anyone who feels overwhelmed by scattered information.
HeroKit starts from the work. You message her the way you’d message a human assistant, like “Remind Dana about the contract and book us a call next week”, and she gets on with it: a draft to Dana for your OK, and two open slots from your calendar. Beyond your inbox and calendar, she pulls reports, researches markets and competitors, writes documents and handles tasks on websites with her own browser.
Where you use it
Saner.AI is an app. You open its workspace on the web or on your phone, and a Chrome extension captures things from the web. Its iPhone app saves your notes and tasks to the device first and syncs when you’re back online.
There’s no new app to learn with HeroKit. She lives where you already talk: WhatsApp, Telegram and email. She has her own number, so you can save her as a contact, forward her anything and add her to your groups.
Email, calendar and tasks
Both help you stay on top of email and deadlines, from different directions.
- Saner.AI turns action items in your email into tasks with reminders, lays out your day each morning with urgent tasks, events and emails that need a response, and syncs tasks both ways with Google Calendar.
- HeroKit watches several Gmail accounts, filters the noise and alerts you only on what’s urgent. Every request becomes a tracked task with a deadline: she follows up, nudges the people you’re waiting on and tells you when it’s done. Each morning she sends a brief with today’s meetings, open tasks, deadlines and what’s waiting on you.
The difference is who does the chasing. Saner.AI helps you plan your work. HeroKit also follows up with other people for you, with drafts you approve before they’re sent.
Notes, memory and search
This is Saner.AI’s home ground. It’s a notes app with folders and a block editor, lets you import from tools like Notion and Obsidian, and answers questions across your notes, documents and files.
HeroKit isn’t a notes app. Her memory is about knowing your world: she remembers your preferences, your people and your projects, so you never repeat yourself, and you can see and edit what she remembers.
Getting work done for you
Saner.AI’s assistant checks in on your tasks, breaks them into manageable steps, sets reminders and suggests ways to get them done. Its focus is helping you plan and stay on track.
HeroKit is built to do the work: reports from your dashboards by brand, campaign or client; market, keyword and competitor research; landing-page mockups, images, documents, spreadsheets and slide decks; and online tasks like filling in forms, signing up for services and comparing prices.
Who each one suits
Saner.AI suits you if:
- You want one place for notes, email, tasks and calendar.
- You think by writing things down and want help turning notes into plans.
- You’d like an ADHD-friendly, distraction-free workspace.
HeroKit suits you if:
- You’d rather send a text or a voice note than open another app.
- You want someone to follow up, research, report and handle web tasks for you.
- You want to approve the exact wording of anything sent in your name.
Can you use both?
Yes. They overlap on email and tasks, but one is a place to think and plan, and the other is an assistant who acts. If you’d like the acting part on WhatsApp or Telegram, see how HeroKit works.
